The before and after picture of this Maitland home show exactly why using a professional restoration company is always a great idea as opposed to handling a disaster alone. The owners of this vacation home had their living room flooded during a storm a year prior. At the time of the incident, they decided to remove the water themselves and place fans to dry. Baseboards were never removed and moisture checks were never conducted. Fast forward to four months later, mold growth had developed over quite an extensive amount of time and covered a good percentage of the wall. This time they called the professionals in and we completely remediated the mold to pass a final clearance test!
