Mold Remediation in Winter Park Attic

The attic of this Winter Park home was exposed to moisture for a prolonged time due to damaged roof shingles that allowed rainwater to penetrate. This, coupled with the humidity of the attic, created the perfect environment for mold growth. After receiving a testing protocol for the type of mold and recommended solutions for removal, we came out to verify the results. Before removing the mold, a containment was created to block entrances and exits to the affected areas and prevent mold spores from spreading further after being disturbed. Porous materials were removed and replaced, salvageable materials were disinfected with a plant-based microbial, and an air scrubber was used to filter the mold spores in the air.
