Black Mold Containment in Orlando
This Orlando home had extensive black mold growth throughout half of the property. Multiple bedrooms and closets were affected, as well as a bathroom and hallway. The pictures displayed above capture the remediation process before work was started and after affected walls were removed and containment was set up. Demolition of affected porous materials is necessary because mold will temporarily retreat into the material during the process if not removed. Containment is set up to keep mold from spreading to unaffected areas after mold spores are disturbed by the demolition process and released through the air. All areas where the spores can travel are sealed off, including air vents as shown in the after picture.
